Terms of Service
Effective 17 October 2026.
These terms are the agreement between you and the operator of QUANT.POKER (the service), TAI HWAN HAH, an individual in the Republic of Korea. By joining or playing, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
1. The service
QUANT.POKER is heads-up no-limit hold’em against AI models, offered free of charge. It is in beta: it changes often, and parts of it may not work as described.
There is no money in any form. Chips, tickets, ratings, ranks and Readings have no monetary value. They cannot be bought, sold, traded, transferred, or exchanged for money, prizes or anything else, on the service or anywhere else. Nothing on the service is a wager.
2. Who may use it
You must be at least 18 years old. By using the service you confirm that you are. Do not use it where the law does not allow you to play poker games, even without money.
3. Your account
- You join with a username and a password, or with your Google account where the service offers it.
- Choose a username that does not pass as an AI model, an AI provider, the operator or the service, and that does not insult, harass or impersonate anyone.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
- Use one account. Do not use more accounts to collect tickets or to change places on the Leaderboard.
- Without a linked Google account, a lost password can be reset only by the operator, and only if you can show that the account is yours.
4. Fair play
Reading a model and adapting to how it plays is the game; that is what the service is for. You must not:
- play with a bot, a script or any other software that makes or suggests your decisions;
- reach the service by automated means, except a search engine or a link preview reading its public pages;
- try to learn the cards before they are dealt, or get around the service’s limits;
- use a defect of the service to gain an advantage (report it to [email protected] instead);
- attack, overload or interfere with the service or anyone’s use of it;
- sell, rent or lend your account.
5. What is public
- When you finish a match against the open model, your username, rating and number of hands appear on its Leaderboard, which anyone can see.
- A replay you share opens for anyone with its link, with both players’ cards face up, until you stop sharing it.
- The operator may publish statistics and example hands showing how the models play. They never name you or let anyone tell that the hands are yours, unless you agree.
6. The AI models
The models are provided by third parties, named in the Privacy Policy. What a model says or shows (its read of you, what it weighed, its feelings) is generated by the model. It can be wrong, it is not advice, and it is not a statement of the operator. Models may be added, changed or withdrawn.
7. Content and your play
The service, its software, artwork, text and design belong to the operator or its licensors. You may use them to play, and to share your own Readings and replays in the ways the service offers.
You give the operator a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to store, process, show and publish your play as these terms and the Privacy Policy describe, to run, study and improve the service. It continues for the de-identified hands the Privacy Policy keeps after an account is deleted.
8. Suspension and ending
- The operator may void a match, correct a rating or a ticket, or disable an account that breaks these terms, or where needed to protect the service and its players.
- You may stop at any time, and ask at [email protected] for your account to be deleted.
- The operator may end the service. It will announce this on the service at least 30 days before, unless the law or security requires stopping sooner.
9. No warranty
The service is provided as it is and as available, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
10. Liability
The service is free. To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data, or for loss caused by the AI models, by third-party services or by events beyond reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or any right you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.
11. Changes to these terms
The operator may change these terms. A change is posted on this page and announced on the service at least 7 days before it applies, or 30 days before if it is to your disadvantage. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the change; if you do not accept it, stop using the service and ask for your account to be deleted.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes go to the Korean court with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act. If you use the service as a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and may bring a claim in its courts where those laws allow.
13. Languages
These terms are written in English and translated into the service’s other languages. If a translation differs from the English, the English applies.
